The honey chambers are prepared, the RHOBA colony is in top condition - and yet our beekeeper Nadine Schimmel checks everything carefully. A barrier grid is placed under the honey room to ensure that the queen cannot get to the top, while the shield is polished to a shine so that our busy bees know where their home is.
We look forward to another successful bee year and lots of delicious honey.
