Paint Shop
RHOBA-Chemie supplies paint shops with specialty chemicals for the entire coating process chain: from degreasing components to protecting the paint booth to treating the recirculating water.
Oils, greases, cooling lubricants, and other machining residues reduce paint adhesion if they are not completely removed before coating. The RHOBA LAVIA series cleans metal, aluminum, and plastic surfaces using immersion, spray, or ultrasonic methods—either water-based or solvent-based, depending on the material and equipment.
If overspray adheres to booth walls, floors, and equipment components, cleaning becomes more time-consuming, and in the worst case, unplanned downtime may occur. The RHOBA SUPRA B Series coats the booth surfaces so that overspray does not adhere in the first place and can be removed without leaving any residue. As a result, the booth is ready for the next painting operation more quickly.
During operation, fixtures, mounts, and suspensions accumulate layers of paint that impair their function. The eight cold and hot paint strippers in the RHOBA SUPRA E Series remove baked-on paints, powder coatings, epoxy resins, and two-component systems chemically rather than mechanically—tailored to the material, coating system, and process. This also works on workpieces with improper coatings or multiple layers of paint.
Without continuous de-adhesion and separation, paint overspray accumulates in the recirculating water of water-spray paint booths and clogs pipes and nozzles. RHOBA PURIA coagulants and flocculants neutralize the charge of paint and pigment particles from water-based and solvent-based paints, while supplementary defoamers keep the water free of foam. This reduces deposits in the system, increases the dry matter content in the paint sludge, and lowers disposal costs.
Whether it's a cleaning bath, tank water, or paint sludge: Our lab tests the pH, concentration, and solids content and helps you tailor the dosage and service life to your system.
At our training center, we provide hands-on knowledge of cleaning and pretreatment processes so that your team can identify deviations early on and take corrective action on their own.
Let's work together to identify areas in your painting process where you can extend tool life and reduce disposal and cleaning costs.
