Coagulants for Water-Wash Spray Booths

Our coagulants are designed to neutralize, agglomerate and flocculate finely dispersed liquid and dissolved paint particles. They can be used in a wide range of water-wash spray booth systems and help remove overspray and paint particles from recirculating process water.

Our products are suitable for a broad range of common coating systems, including conventional solvent-based paints, water-based paints, UV coatings and clear coats that are difficult to separate. They can also be used in demanding mixed operations involving solvent-based and water-based paints. Properly adjusted coagulation helps keep the recirculating water and spray booth system in good operating condition.

Immediately after the coagulation stage, the resulting microflocs may still be too small for effective mechanical separation. RHOBA-Chemie therefore also offers flocculants that combine microflocs into larger, more easily separable agglomerates and can simplify their subsequent removal and disposal.
