RHOBA SUPRA E301 is a liquid cold paint stripper for immersion application and is excellently suited for stripping paint from mis-coated workpieces and painting equipment.

Use undiluted in immersion application and at room temperature. Heating up to 45 °C is possible and can shorten the paint stripping time. It is recommended to clean the parts to be stripped of coarse dirt and oil. They must also be dry. Ingress of water reduces the paint stripping performance and considerably reduces the bath life; in addition, corrosion may occur on light metals.

The product can be used with a topcoat (item no. 103004) to reduce evaporation losses and carry-over losses. In this case, please ensure parts to be stripped are completely immersed in the working phase. For optimal functioning, the topcoat should be 8-10 cm high.

Depending on the type, layer thickness and age of the coating, the paint stripping time ranges from a few minutes to several hours. A light bath movement supports the paint stripping process and, according to experience, shortens the paint stripping time. After completion of the paint stripping process, the parts are rinsed in a water bath or sprayed with a strong water jet; no water should get into the paint stripper bath. In the case of steel or iron workpieces, subsequent passivation may be necessary to prevent rust formation.
