RHOBA SUPRA E201 is a liquid, amine-free hot paint stripper which is particularly suitable for aluminium and its alloys. For this purpose, it is used undiluted in an immersion bath or in a spray paint stripping system at 60-90°C.

In covered bath application ensure a light suction to avoid the formation of aerosols.

The parts to be paint stripped should be cleaned of coarse dirt and oil and be dry. Ingress of water will reduce the performance and the bath life.

The paint stripping time depends on the type/thickness/age of paint used and can range from a few minutes to several hours. A slight agitation of the bath reduces the paint stripping time. After the paint stripping process is completed, the parts are rinsed in a water bath or sprayed off the surface with a water jet. The rinsing water must not get into the paint stripper bath. In the case of steel and iron workpieces, subsequent passivation may be necessary to prevent rust.

In the dipping process, the product can be used with a topcoat (item no. 103002), to reduce evaporation losses and carry-over losses to reduce evaporation losses and carry-over losses of the working coat. For optimal function, the top layer should be 8-10cm high.
