Is a liquid and multifunctional combination product for simultaneous degreasing and phosphating and is used in the spraying process, in single and multi-chamber systems, as well as in high-pressure equipment.

For optimal results, the pH value must be adjusted to 4.0 - 5.5 by adding RHOBA SUPRA Z402. The pH value should be checked regularly and should not exceed 5.3. In case of very heavy soiling, degreasing can be intensified with RHOBA SUPRA Z404. The addition amounts to 0.05 - 0.5 %.

After cleaning/phosphating, rinse the treated components with water.

10 ml of the cleaning bath to be examined are added to a 250ml Erlenmeyer flask by means of a pipette. Add 50 ml of deionised water and 5 drops of the indicator solution (phenolphthalein solution, 1%). Add 0.1M sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) and tritrate until the colour changes from colourless to pink or red.

Calculation of the concentration:

Concentration (Vol.%) = [Consumption 0.1M sodium hydroxide (NaOH in ml)] x 0.52
