RHOBA SUPRA E501 is a ready-to-use paint remover which reliably removes a multitude of hardened polyurethanes, 1-component, 2-component paints, epoxy paints, dried paints, as well as oils, greases and environmental dirt by spraying, rinsing, pumping, dipping, brushing, and wiping.
RHOBA SUPRA E501 is used undiluted by immersion and at room temperature. Heating up to 40° C is possible and can shorten the paint removal time.
The parts to be stripped should be cleaned of coarse dirt and oil if possible and must be dry. Ingress of water reduces the paint stripping performance and considerably reduces the bath life; in addition, corrosion may occur on light metals.
Depending on the type, layer thickness and age of the organic coating, the paint stripping time ranges from a few minutes to several hours. A slight agitation of the bath supports the paint stripping process and, according to experience, shortens the paint stripping time.
After completion of the paint stripping process, the parts are rinsed off in a water bath or sprayed with a strong water jet; no water should get into the paint stripper bath.
